Service Description

On March 19, Workout Spot will be hosting a fun pole dance party designed to give you a great workout in a relaxed, friendly environment This workshop will be for beginners or those returning to pole after a long hiatus. You will learn the basics of pole dancing, how to get comfortable with the pole and basic technique to master beginning moves and build strength. .. Some important things to note: 1) What to wear: It is advised to wear shorts, and a tank top or sports bra. The more skin you have showing the better, not just to look cute but functionally the more skin you have in contact with the pole the easier it is to master technique. That being said, please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. This will be a very supportive, body positive experience and we want all attendees to feel good. 2)Footwear: For Beginning Pole we go barefoot. Leave the platforms at home for now. It is best to learn barefoot and add heels later! 3)Please do not put lotion or oils on your skin the day of the event as this will make the pole slippery for you and others to grip. 4)Bring water! We can only have a limited number of people at this event so get your ticket early and get excited! It's going to be a blast! **COVID GUIDELINES** Per the City of Oakland's ordinance, all attendees must show proof of full vaccination
